What Punishment for Webcam Spying Is Appropriate?

I honestly don't know what an appripriate punishment would be for webcam spying. It is a gross invasion of privacy and once a person knows how to do it, who is to say that any punishment would keep them from doing it again. I would have to say that a punishment would have to depend on what they were going to do with the information they got from spying.As I said earlier I just dont see how it could be punishable unless it was used to commit a crime and then it would only serve as evidence.I suggest suing whoever is spying on you, hit them where it hurts and for most people that is their pocketbook.

Should Apps Be Allowed to Track Your Location?

I don't think apps should be allowed to track you location without your permission. By apps tracking your location it gives other people access to your location and in my opinion that is not a good thing. Stalkers can find you and pedophiles can find your children. All of the social media websites have an option for you to tag your location and to me that is dangerous. If you are on vacation and you tag your location, you are letting people know that you are not home, and potential theives could get a hold of this information and go and rob your house. Apps that track your location just make it easier for you to be victimized.

Chapter 1

I was pleasantly surprised at all that I did know when I finished chapter 1. I must admit that it was very hard for me to sit down and read it because the first part was boring. The last part of the chapter brought up some interesting points that I would have never thought of. I haven't really thought of an old computer as being an enviormental issue. Apparently, overlooking what computers are made of is not good for the enviorment. I had no idea that a computer just sitting around could release toxins. I also didn't know that you could use public Wi-Fi more securely by typing https at the beginning of a web address instead of http. I will be using this tip from now on. I found the videos and power points to be more helpful, especially when I started my assignments. I did have a problem with the assignments at first, because I didn't watch the videos. Honestly, I tried to jump the gun and do them before I watched the videos. After I did what I was supposed to do, it was all relatively easy.

Technology Rant

Hi. My name is Rose and I am from Ammon, North Carolina. I believe that technology is running our lives. Everywhere you look, you see someone on a smartphone or tablet. People are so engrossed in technology, it makes me sick. I am one of those people and I make myself sick . Technology has taken the mystery out of life. You can get on facebook, twitter, and even google and see what anybody is doing now days. In the future getting out of the house and actually meeting people is going to to depend on what you read about them on the internet. This is a shame... people, like books shouldn't be judged by their covers.
